Elizabeth Atkin, founder of ContentContinuum, has been writing forever. In second grade,
she wrote stories for her beloved homeroom teacher, and she began publication of a family newspaper. Years later, at Wellesley College and still writing, she majored in Art History, happily delivering the required research and analysis.
Soon after graduating from Wellesley, Elizabeth attended Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, a school well known as the launch pad of marketing and the 4 "P"s (Product, Promotion, Price, and Place). She studied all aspects of marketing, branding, strategy and left Kellogg with her MBA in hand. Since then, she has worked in the corporate world leading marketing and communications initiatives. Not content to walk the straight and narrow, she has traversed industries including Consumer Products, Financial Services, Advertising, Technology, Management Consulting, Research, Healthcare, Nonprofit. Ultimately, her objective has come down to connecting and communicating with customers.
Elizabeth knows firsthand that staying close to the voice of the customer yields profitable, sometimes record-breaking, results. Communications must reach the intended audience and resonate - both in tone and message - in order to inspire action.
In addition to writing skills, Elizabeth understands the importance of truly connecting with the customer. Connection involves understanding the target audience, the vehicles that will reach that audience, and what can be accomplished through a given vehicle.
When not developing content, Elizabeth may be found leading consulting projects that benefit Boston-area nonprofits. She might also be found reading the Wall Street Journal, scuba diving, or off on a run. View Elizabeth's LinkedIn profile at Linkedin.com/in/atkin.
